Why go
The free-standing, snow-covered Mount Shasta dominates northern California. Forests, waterfalls, mountain lakes and small towns make the region a pleasant stopover between Lassen and Redwoods.

Our recommendation
Mount Shasta is an excellent recreation setup. Lake Siskiyou and McCloud Falls offer plenty of scenery with little driving stress and good RV infrastructure.
