Travel inspiration and planning

Rolling Dreams shares our personal travel research and tentative plans. Descriptions, route ideas and recommendations can change. Confirm opening dates, permits, reservations and current conditions with the park, campground or other operator before travelling. Links to booking websites do not themselves reserve a place.

Driving times and Google Maps

Google driving times are estimates for ordinary car routes, based on the conditions when requested. A separately labelled planning allowance is our own adjustment. Breaks and sightseeing are additional. Car routes do not certify clearance or suitability for a pickup and fifth wheel: check height, weight, length, road restrictions and the operator’s approach directions.

Use of Google Maps features is also subject to the Google Maps / Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and Google Terms of Service. Read our Privacy Policy and Google’s Privacy Policy for data handling.
