Why go
Alberta combines the most famous landscapes of Canadian rockies with prairie, ranchland and badlands. Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper need early reservations; outside the hotspots, travelling with large Fifth Wheel is much more relaxed.

Our recommendation
Do not plan this region as a passage. Choose few bases, complete care and use free nights only where land status, access and security clearly fit.
