Why go
Winnipeg is the cultural and logistical centre of the prairie. The Forks, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and the French-influenced Saint-Boniface make the city versatile.
The stop is intended as a quiet stage. The Fifth Wheel remains on a suitable basis if possible, while narrow local, coastal and park roads are only explored with the pickup truck.

Practical tips
Visit downtown without trailer.
Reserve enough time for museums.
Do not leave valuables visible in the vehicle.
Save offline maps. In rural regions, national parks and in the north, mobile communications can be missing over long distances.
Never take water untested from lakes or rivers into the fresh water tank. Replenish drinking water only at released sources or prepare it professionally.
Our recommendation
Use one day for culture and a second for care and Saint-Boniface.
