OUR HOME ON WHEELS

A little home.
A much bigger backyard.

Somewhere to cook after a hike, sort through the day’s photos and wake up ready for the next adventure. This is how we imagine our life on the road.

OUR EVERYDAY SPACE

More than a place to sleep.

We want a comfortable base for ordinary days as well as the memorable ones: making breakfast, sharing a meal, editing photos and deciding where to go next. Our own kitchen, bathroom and bedroom will let us settle in wherever we stop.

PARK. SETTLE IN. EXPLORE.

Our home stays. We head out.

At each base, the fifth wheel can stay at a suitable campsite while we use the pickup for local outings. Some days will be for national parks and walks; others will be for shopping, laundry and enjoying a slower pace.

ROOM FOR THE JOURNEY

A layout we’re considering.

The current Model Z 3310 layout includes a front queen bedroom, a rear bunkroom with two electric bunks and a second bathroom. For now, we’re showing this model as an idea of our future home while we work out what suits us best.

THE FIRST CHAPTER · JUNE 2028

From Chicago to our new front door.

We plan to arrive in Chicago, then travel to Northern Indiana to buy or collect our pickup and fifth wheel. Around two weeks are set aside for the handover, preparations and getting used to our new home before the main road trip begins.

Manufacturer images show the model or range described in each caption, not a vehicle we already own. Equipment and layouts may change before our planned 2028 purchase. We’ll replace these pictures with our own once our home on wheels is chosen.
